Joy echoed through the hallowed halls of our beloved seminary as we celebrated a truly historic milestone: the graduation ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic session. Affectionately known within our cherished seminary tradition as “Epiphany,” this just-concluded event was not merely a commencement, but a profound manifestation of grace. Families, friends, clergy, and benefactors gathered in resplendent numbers to witness the sending forth of a remarkable group of young men who have successfully completed their rigorous academic formation.

What makes this year’s Epiphany particularly momentous is its alignment with our seminary’s Golden Jubilee. For fifty years, this institution has stood as a bastion of faith, academic excellence, and pastoral preparation. The Class of 2025/2026 holds the unique honor of being the Golden Jubilee graduates, carrying upon their shoulders the legacy of a half-century of steadfast dedication to the mission of the Church. They are the golden fruits of decades of prayer, sacrifice, and visionary leadership by our founding fathers and formators.
Among the distinguished graduates are our students of Philosophy, who have spent years navigating the profound depths of human reason, ethics, and logic. Their time in the philosophical faculty has equipped them with the critical thinking necessary to engage with a complex, modern world while seeking absolute Truth. They step forward today not just with degrees, but with a sharpened intellect ready to defend the faith and build bridges of dialogue in an increasingly secular society.

Alongside them are the graduates of Theology, who have immersed themselves in the divine mysteries and the sacred traditions of the Church. Their academic journey has been a rigorous exploration of Scripture, dogma, and moral teaching, all aimed at shaping them into compassionate shepherds and astute theologians. These men have allowed the Word of God to mold their hearts, preparing them for the demanding yet beautiful pastoral realities that await them in their respective dioceses and religious communities.

The graduation ceremony itself was a vibrant tapestry of liturgy, and heartfelt thanksgiving. From the solemnity of the Thanksgiving Mass to the joyous conferring of degrees, every moment reflected the grandeur appropriate for a Jubilee celebration. The air was thick with gratitude as the faculty, led by our esteemed Rector, commended the graduates for their resilience and unwavering commitment, particularly through the intense academic and spiritual demands of the past several years.
As these Golden Jubilee graduates step out of the seminary gates, they carry with them a definitive charge from their formators and the wider Church. They are sent forth into a world that desperately thirsts for authentic leadership, deep spiritual direction, and moral clarity. Whether they are proceeding to the next stage of priestly formation or entering directly into active pastoral ministry, they have been commissioned to be ambassadors of Christ, using their philosophical acumen and theological depth to heal, teach, and guide.

We extend our deepest congratulations to the Epiphany Class of 2025/2026, the pride of our Golden Jubilee year. May the same Holy Spirit who guided your minds through the complexities of Philosophy and Theology now guide your steps in the expansive vineyard of the Lord. As you go forth to manifest His love to the world, remember that this seminary will forever remain your spiritual home, praying unceasingly that your lives and ministries will be an unending epiphany of God’s grace.
