THE BLESSING OF THE REMODELLED FATHER’S MESS BY MOST REV. CAMILLUS UMOH.

The Catholic Bishop of Ikot Ekpene paid a pastoral visit to Saint Joseph Major Seminary for the official opening of the newly renovated Fathers’ Refectory.

The event marked a significant milestone in the ongoing development and improvement of facilities within the seminary by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Patrick Abem and his team of formators.

The ceremony began with a brief prayer session, after which the Bishop proceeded to bless and formally commission the refectory. In his address, he expressed deep satisfaction with the remarkable transformation of the facility and commended the seminary management for their commitment to creating a conducive environment for both formation and community life.

The newly renovated Fathers’ Refectory stands as one of the many innovative projects successfully executed under the leadership of the Rector and his dedicated team of formators.
