The Solemnity of Saint Joseph Major Seminary celebrates the Solemnity of Saint Joseph which is her Seminary Patron Saint FEAST DAY and by extention her Seminary Alumni Day celebration.
The Celebration on the 19th of March Started with the Solemn Celebration of the Holy Mass precided by the Most. Rev. Dr. Carmilus Umoh, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ikot Ekpene, and a member of the Seminary board of consultors.
The Gospel reading was taken by Rev. Mark Inedi and the Bishop Blessed the People afterwards.
The Celebration the Mass was concelebrated by Alumni of the Seminary present: Rev. Frs Augustine Asuquo, Collins Nkra, Sylvester Effiong, Anthony Ebani, Pius Nwankwo, Paul Waziri from the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan (Kaduna State), Paul Udokang, Cletus Asian, Kennedy Asuru, Rev. Fr. Dr. Emem Umoren, and many more…
Also, present are the Friends of the Seminary and the representative of the Commissioner of Finance, Cross Rivers State.
